Too bad no snakehead smashing... There's always SnakeHead Hunt IV. :D
Actually, you missed the action! After you left we spotted one under the
bridge we were seining around. It was a beast! The water was too deep
to wade into, but Jeff wouldnt hear it. He climbed up a nearby tree,
and too our astonishment, with a primeval roar, launched himself at the Beast. He landed in the creek with a mighly splash. The water churned and bloodstained spray was everywhere! It was hard to see exactly what was happening, but when the spray
settled down, we saw Jeff, emerging from the creek - Victorious!

There's one for the grand kids...

I had a great time too! I'm looking forward to seeing how the bluespotted sunfish and killifish will do in my tank. Thanks for a great trip Bob!

I KNEW IT

Post by maria »

I KNEW IT! Jeff seemed like such a nice guy with his macro lens taking photos of the 1/2 inch blue spots, inwardly he was probably thinking "my poor buds, with their teensy, tiny fish... I shall feast upon the victory of
capturing a snakehead today. " 8)

Good thing he did too... this article describes how evil they REALLY are

:D Oh yeah, and thanks Bob!

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

Sure thing, Kevin. Thanks for asking. These trips are always fun and I was glad to have a group to take along.

You never know what you're going to find, or where you're going to find it. So keep looking.
