New club Sponsor!

Post by ingg »

We will make sure to also announce this during this month's meeting.

Wally's Aquarium in Alexandria, Virginia, has signed on in support of GWAPA.

Show your GWAPA membership card for 10% off on all livestock items.

Look for us to be inquiring into demos/seminars att their location, the owner Don has expressed an interest - which just might have something to do with a new part time employee there. ;)

Membership card? Don't have one of those and I was wondering if there were places that offered discounts to members.

See Sean Murphy at the first meeting you can make it to and he'll hook you up. Most of the places that take the discount will take your word on it until then.

We get 10% off of livestock (including plants) at:

SCALES
Aquarium Depot
Tropcial Fish World
Wally's Aquarium

I went to Wally's last week and I was surprised that they accepted the GWAPA discount. I asked by chance at checkout ... I guess my timing was just right.

ask Dave when he is coming in, I order and sell what I know with a few experiments.

Anything I dont know when I order it I buy some, take it home and put it in a few different tanks to see what it does best in. Though I dont order any of the bog plants. It took almost 2 months to dump most of them.

One plant will have a ID request soon because it is NOT ludwigia AFAIK.

Emersed ludwigia look a LOT different than submersed versions.

basically the leaves are converting to submerged and and went from tear dropped shape to almost looking like a fern almost but as a stem.
