Hey, Maddog, I'm guessing you've got some neat collecting not too far from where you live.

I know these are in southern Maryland. (I just haven't ventured too far south of PG County, so I'm not clear on locations.)

You never know what you're going to find, or where you're going to find it. So keep looking.

Won't make this meeting. Camping at Jane's Island State Park on the Eastern Shore.

Most of the stuff I have collected has been from the Bay and is probably considered brackish. It was also considered bait, as it was used to 'collect' larger specimens.

Not sure if I'll be there or not. Petrol's starting to get a bit pricey.

Ah yes, Under the Redcoat, one of my favourite events. Loyalty oaths, harassing the locals, arresting the townsfolk for besmirching the King's good name, those were the days! *Sigh*

You'll have to ask if anyone remembers when Joey flipped this 70 year guy while wrestling him to the ground under arrest because he refused to produce his papers and mistakenly resisted arrest. It drew quite a crowd to see a half dozen Redcoats jump the poor bugger. Of course we had our share of bruises too....

Cheers.

Jim, that sounds cool! This will be my first UTR, so I'm looking forward to it. I will definately ask about arrest event. I have 15 pages of rules & reg to read for this year since CW has that Revolutionary City event going on at the same time.

OK. I can tell you that your mistake was in not bringing some of them home. Mummichog and sheepshead minnows make really nice aquarium residents. And skilletfish are really neat oddballs.

Hey all! Long time no talk. I only have a few more days until the baby is born, so I am going to try and make it to 1 more meeting. I plan on rescaping the tank next week while in on vacation. ( when the wife and baby are asleep)
