Jeff,
You actually believed that mumbo jumbo that Ghazanfar was spewing about trimming stems!
I wait til they hit the top, but it is because I am lazy!

Ok - here are the pictures I was planning on using - along w/ a video. I hope
this shows what extreme pruning results in.
The rough scape - no major pruning done since initial planting.
The foreground has filled in and is starting to clump up and creep over
the rockwork.
Time to go postal! MUWAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHA!
Take THAT! That'll teach you to look overgrown.
Two weeks later...
Nice and even!

I must have seen it a day or two after that hacking. I honestly looked up at Ghazanfar and said, "You hacked the sh!t out of this! Nice foreground."
It just proves what he said about not being able to plant enough to make the effect, you have to draw it out of the plants. If you were to take out all the plants and try to put them back you wouldn't be able to do it. You'd have a pile of extras.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.
If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!
I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up!
