not even then, there was a ton in the auction on Sunday and it was selling for dirt cheap.Ghazanfar Ghori wrote:He's right. Items that would have been gobbled up a few months ago are now
not moving online - unless you've got nana petite by the ton.
I am kinda mad that I split my rhizome up like I did. I also wish that Dave, Ghaz or a few others had been there, there were a bunch of crypts that werent IDed right and I wanted clarification on a crypt that I had that was the reddest wendtii I had ever seen.

Yeah, I'm talking about newer plants like the Rotala verticillaris I started spreading around last year. I bought that for $30.00 / stem and can barely sell it for $10 / 3 stems. I always send more than 3 stems and people know that about me. It's even great for aquascaping and not just collecting.krisw wrote:Huh, that's too bad... And, of course, you're sure that you haven't saturated the market? (not that either one of you have a history for that!)
Anyway, I'm sure Dave is e-slapping me now for hijacking his thread.
Back to Dave's awesome tank !
Ironically, the one plant I'm looking to buy online is... nana petite.
I sell the Vesuvius runners online in a matter of minutes, probably need to raise prices while I can. I see myself flooding that market quickly, can't control the stuff, I could sell a runner of 4 plantls like every few days/week at this point. I should trash it rather than ruin the market for it
Am surprised the Stellata isn't selling, it really looks great.

The online price for plants is a little different then GWAPA prices!B Considine wrote:With the turnout GWAPA has had the last few months, I find it hard to believe you wouldn't be able to sell all but the most demanding plant.

Ive have had trouble selling lately as well, had to lower prices and even ended up just trashing some a week or 2 ago
