Ok Roberts will exchange your tank and charge you for a refill.
In case you didnt know, it is 22bucks (roughly) for a 10lb tank's worth of Co2, OR 24 bucks for a 20lb tank.
I didnt really want to see about going up larger then that but thought it might help out those that are looking at pressurized Co2.
10lb tank was roughly 130.00
20lb was roughly 180.00
Co2 cannisters.com has 10lb tanks for like 58 and 20 for 88 before shipping.

Yeah - I've upgraded most of my CO2 cnisters to 20lbers for that reason.

Can't get 20 pounders filled anywhere tho, is the downside, only swap - I actually found a place that'll fill it if I leave it in Frederick. Didn't want to give up my shiny tank, nuts, I know.

oh he wont? Didnt know that.
Roberts used to be willing to fill a personally owned tank IF you left it with them (also had to be certified if in doubt). Did they stop doing that?

I got my 10# tank filled at AirGas for $15. Anyone tried them for a 20 # tank.

Do most of you swap out your tanks, or have them filled while you wait? Other than getting to keep a shiny new tank, is there any other benefit to having it filled instead of swapping it out?

Joe, which Airgas? Was it fill while you wait?
No real reason not to swap them - just, on a 20# tank, I don't want to swap my new aluminum tank for an old beat up steel one.
