Evidently moving a fixture up 5 floors will kill a ballast...
My trusty 4x65w CF has a dead ballast on one side now and I would like to repair it if possible, anyone got any hints where to look?

Pull the old ballast and see if there are any numbers on it. You may be able to find a replacement at HD or Lowes, maybe an electrical supply house.
