Are we going to try to staff a table on Sunday to catch the auction only people? Just curious?
If we have enough interested bodies to fill the table seats, then sure.

Can you make it a poll option to be able to judge whether you will have the right amount of people?

So the catfish convention table is information only? It may attract more
members. That may not nessesarily be a good thing any more.
Just my opinion.

We're going to have to deal with new members regardless, and in fact, the board will be asking the membership about options regarding increased numbers sometime soon.

I'll update the poll.

New members are a good thing, otherwise meetings and the clubs go stale and stagnate.

Meetingwise, I MIGHT have an option (my building has a "party room" I dont know what the rate would be if any, and parking would be street only), but I would need to talk to the bldg mngmnt first and then also the BOD for GWAPA.

It is pretty metro accessible, and large enough that it would work for everything under a multiclub meeting.

/just an option to consider.
//though I still prefer going to different houses and looking at their tanks.

That's good to know Jeff. As I mentioned, we've been investigating some of our options already, and will allow the membership to vote on any change of course, when the time comes.

For the time being, let's keep this about the Catfish Convention, however.

Bump

7 votes here vs 30 on the poll for meeting locations, wish there would be a little more enthusiasm on this topic as well

I don't think I'll be in the country that weekend. If things change we can see.
