Lighting a 5G tank

I need suggestions on what to light a 5G tank
with. HIGH light please! The Watts/G rule breaks
down at tanks this small. A 36Watt fixture maybe?

Hmmmm...

Someone on either plantedtank or APC was trying to get a bunch of people to go in on these 400W 19" dia industrial fixtures he found on ebay. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley29.gif" border="0">

2 13w bulbs CFPCs would give you 5 wpg.

or

the 28w or 32w bulbs would only be just over 14" with the endcap.

You'd have to make a wider-than-tank hood to get a 36w over it I think.

I don't think 2x13 will be enough. I've got a 28W
fixture on a 5G and it really isn't THAT bright.
I don't think I'd mind having the hood longer
than the tank itself. I may just incorporate that
into the design.

I have two of the LOA fixtures on a ten, theoretical 13 wats per gallon. I have two of the 36 watt AHS fixtures over another 10 for a theoretical 7.2 wpg. Both have the hagen CO2 ladders and pressurized CO2.
