Tanks are going in faster than the basement is getting finished. Ah well.
Pictures are horrid and blurry, but you get the idea...
Needed to get a QT tank set up if my green eye rasbora ever come in... which means I need to get stuff moving to downstairs. In comes setting up the 33g cube. Lit with a 2x40w Current fixture.
Over the weekend, found an ad asking to swap their 75g for a 55g. Tank and stand, glass tops. Has a couple of scratches, to be expected I guess, but overall in nice shape, and it cost my nothing to switch my 55g to a 75g, so I'm happy! Had to house the plants, so it had to be set up... Light is due in this week for it, a 4x54 T5 fixture. Lighting it with remnants of lights from other tanks right now - the bulb differences are pretty hilarious.

Glad to know i is sinking in - I'm trying to learn from you guys. After a year of seeing all these great tanks, long term scapes, I'm trying to get it right. Yknow... actually doing one, having you all help set up the 180g, it helped a TON for me.I'll tell you one thing Dave -- your hardscaping ability has improved so much since you first joined the club! For that reason, both of these are going to be really nice scapes once they grow in. Nice job!
As for the rest of you lot.... You guys are mean!
I'm still trying to learn how to scape a tank - once I get it figured out, then I'll work on how to take a picture!
My little camera, when you turn the flash off, it takes like 4 seconds to take the pic...so unless I set up to be able to sit the camera on something... yknow, your hand shakes a little, and well.. this is what I get at the end.
I'll try again on the 75g when the new light arrives. The whole one side blue, one side white thing is horrible to look at anyhow.
