It's definitely possible to breed them. That's the only way Andrew's supplier would be able to sell 'em so cheap. :D

Sorry bout your luck Jeff! Actually thought those comments were made jokingly at first. Didn't know they can be repaired, but I will try to remember that if I ever get any snails other than the ones that seem to come with plants.

There's another good thread on applesnail.net

Click on discussions and click on the "Other Snails" forum towards the bottom of the list. Someone took pictures of the veligers swimming around under a microscope shortly after hatching.
