Or are they both junk and get something else like Rex Grigg's? (I don't understand why his is better, but...)
This'll be for the 180g.
I'm planning to use a drop checker to test CO2 levels, and use the solenoid to time CO2 injection with the lights...bad idea, okay idea, good idea? I'd like to skip it, but is a PH monitor necessary in a tank this size?

I have a JBJ and an Azoo, both are nice, seem more folks have problems with Milwaukee's and EOTD. I wouldn't use a PH monitor on the tank, drop checker will work fine.

Buying the R.G. regulator unit is like buying Britney Spears perfume..
.. the only reason its there is because they have a name for themself ..

Got it.
Will be buying other stuff from rex, he has cheap prices on needle valves and co2 tuning and manifold, will get jbj I think for regulator.
Manifold with plugs and ports, 100' tune, 4 brass check valves, 3 swagelock needle valves is about 200 from him, was more everywhere else I could find.

Everything you need to build "Rex's" regulator is at those three sites for cheaper than he sells them.
