I took two different shots of my tank. Which backround does everyone like best? I do plan to take better pictures with the shades blocked and the equipment out of the tank.

In these, the black looks better, but I think the one with the lighter background looks foggier. If the plants were as sharp as in the black background, I might lean toward white.
A few trimming notes, and these are just my opinions, so do as you will. In the bottom right front, the red hygro looking plant could probably be removed. It looks kind of out of place since it's taller than the anubias behind it. Also, center left, the group of taller plants stick out. I wonder if they wouldn't look better if trimmed to form an even slope up to the left, like you do on the right... I'm totally being picky because this scape is way better than anything I've got going in my tanks right now!
