Lol!
Marsha, the folks in DFWAPC are really hardcore plant geeks...
They refer to fish as bait and almost despise talking
about fish.

Ben - it depends on what kind of bait you're looking
for.

Rainbows that don't cost $$$$$$.

I like the little Rainbows too like Celebese and Gertrude, not the big ones with the funky heads.

Fancy Bait= something other than Platties, Gold Fish, and Painted Glass Tetras

We hardcore plant people even have the fish heads on the DFW calling the fish, bait It's a hoot.

Very cool.

I have some of those and they spawn all the time, but if anything hatches, I'm sure the other fish get the fry. Ricky Cain can't get his gertrudes to stop breeding. I was hoping to find some of the Frucatas without paying $12 each for them after shipping.

The last time I talked with the Aquarium Center in Baltimore, they had the gertrudes & frucatus for $5.99 each... in fact, all blue-eyes were that price.

Hehehe... yeah, but I live 6 hours from there

Someone I met at that meeting in Raleigh this weekend knew where they might have them in Charlotte and was going to keep at eye out for me. Since they are 3 hours away and where I grew up, I'm holding out for that one.

Thanks for the help. I might inquire at my LFS, but they would probably want $$$$ for them.
