90-P A Quick Pic Of Day 1

Post by Aaron »

Plants are almost all Rotalas. Foreground is Downoi, HC and Fissidens.

And yes I'm crazy, but it's a soil substrate...Sean style. 8)

Nice start.

You are starting to sound like a convert or something.

Sean - I'm definitely a convert. Any plant that won't grow in the soil is slowly getting phased out of my collection. Once things settle in it just grows steadily and almost algae free.

Kevin - Jeff got the dimensions correct. :)

Jeff - I have some of Uridina's (dude from the PT forum) lily pipes and an XP3. I ran out of time with the rehearsal dinner and wedding stuff this weekend so it's in there to move water around for the time being. :D

Now you just need a stand to do the tank justice.

Well, space is crucial in the apartment so it does sit atop a newly build tank rack. Not nearly as gorgeous as that one, but it'll do the trick and it also holds 3 tanks for emersed setups. ;)

And I bet Aaron's new stand is heavier than that other one!

Now why would you need so much emersed growing space?
