Zoo Med Power Sweep 212,214,226,228

Post by Spine »

Has anyone tried any of the Zoo Med rotating powerheads ? I'm thinking about putting one in my 120gal. and a 20gal tank to get better circulation.

Ha I didnt connect the 28 on here to his countdown at first, thought he was telling Kevin he had used the 228.

Sean

Are you taking a vacation so thats why the hard push to get to 1000. Dont worry Jeff and I will be on your doorstep before you know it when it comes to fluff. Although of course half my future postings will be the Times and Accomplishments of Lori the Magnificent. The lore will go on forever....or at least until I can at least somewhat reestablish control of the tanks as my own.

It gets clogged quickly and the sweep action stops. It's a super pain to clean one because of all of the parts. Stick with Aquaclears.

I gave a good answer Rob, there was no fluff in 28, in fact there were no extra words in 28, that was a very Hemingway-esc post. I also certainly do not expect to dethrone the king of fluff either. Good luck with that power struggle thing at home there....

Go PATS!!!

27 all fluff but needed fluff.

I have been using one of the Zoo-Med rotating power heads to pull water through the sponge filters in my Goldfish tank and it works very well. The GF seem to enjoy have the random current in the tank. I have not experienced any problems cleaning the power head.

In order to keep this an official plant club posting I will state that the only plant that tank has in it is duckweed because that is what the GF love to eat. :)

Be nice Chris, there are at least nine native species of Lemna.
