You rock! What's the scale on this picture? Is that leaf glosso sized? HC sized?

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

Interesting. So, you had mentioned something about how this is a seasonal plant before. Can you keep it growing perpetually in the aquarium, or will it require a dorminacy period?

It's only seasonal in that it naturally occurs in pools formed by the rainy season in Malta. Every year they dry up and it grows emersed and drops seeds everywhere. In the aquarium it will not die off.

The leaf size is about 1/2 mm!

Where did you find it? I've been looking for a couple of years.

Cheers.

Stephan Mifsud sent me seeds back in June. I had to wait until fall to germinate them. All of that anxiousness finally paid off.

Don't worry, GWAPA folks will be the first to get their hands on this one.

Found a good article http://www.aquatic-gardeners.org/elatine.html

Seems like a smaller glosso, that should be cool!

I remember you said you were looking for it too when I posted quite awhile back. I even e-mailed Stephan last year and he said he didn't have any left.

I'm definately interested in some when you make it available.

Thanks for the link Jeff. I remember that article from back in the winter off 2004, but the web version has some new stuff.

Cheers.
