I'm just starting a 120 gal tank are there any guide lines that I should follow as far as dosing and CO2 for this tank? I have mostly Swords and Crypts with some stem plants .
Thanks
Kevin

Ok fine - a serious answer then. Assuming you're not using
any pH buffers use the pH / KH chart to figure out what you pH should
be at 30 ppm of CO2. Then tweak your CO2 rate until your pH is at that
level a few hours after lights on. Its normal for the pH to climb a bit when
plants are photosyntesising at full swing during the day - so don't worry about
that too much.
Google "pH CO2 chart" - and you should find the chart I'm referring to.
Im in a rush otherwise I'd look it up for you.
