When I upped the iron I got GW :x
So it is staying where is is for now.

I did add a coralife 30" dual T-5- across the back of the tank, I suspect this is what really made the HC take off. Also stopped the plants leaning in toward the center

That's the biggest Downoi I have seen. I wish I could grow them.

While I'm at it all you people, a bunch of my cool plants died in the move. One of the boxes got too hot. Donations to replinish my stock are welcome. Probably not worth trying to send anything until it cools off though. It will just boil again.

Jeff, what got rid of the GW for you?

Ben, open a thread and give us a list.

Well I tried your PO4 at 5ppm for a few days, but I got scared!!!! Then Spine let me borrow his diatom and cleared it up in about 20 minutes. It wasnt pea soup, just kinda cloudy looking.

Digging through some old threads! I think I have come a long way!
Here is what it looked like around September when I had the meeting at my place
Image

Then I decide to try out the mossy rock, redid it around the first of this year. This photo was taken around January sometime shortly after I redid the tank. I PSed it a little playing around
Image

Left corner has Blyxa aubertii that has grown in a little, may just extend the rotala green to the corner though.

Not sure if Im likely everything, I would like to get the Limnophila aromatica out of there but I am attached to that plant! It has been in every scape. But it may be time for a change if I can find the right plant. Im open to suggestions for improvements.

Its kinda fun to look back at all the different plants and scapes this tank has had, look through your old photos, see how far you have come!

Looks nice!

You continually amaze me with what you can do with 12" deep tanks. They always look so much deeper.

What is the little tiny vertical plant, right behind the Downoi? Is the linophila sp. mini, or some mini rotala?

Take out the equipment before you photograph!

Seriously, this is looking nice, and the picture is SHARP! Besides that one stem on the far left that's straggly and talle, I wouldn't change a thing.
