MACNA XVII- In DC
Wasnt sure if anyone would be interested in going to this but the Marine Aquarium Conference for North America is being held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City on September 16th, 17th, and 18th. This event is being hosted by the Washington D.C Area Marine Aquarist Society. I am possibly looking to go on the 18th. There are a number of exhibitors coming from all the major aquatic goods producers. I know that we are primarily dedicated to plant keeping but I thought there might be some interest in attending. Let me know. There is a brochure in Aquarium Fish Magazine for October 2005.

I will probably go to the event because it is a very short drive from my place. In order to also not spend much money I am going to park my car at least one mile away.
For specific information on the event check out the following link:

It indicates that it will cost $15 to wonder through the trade show exhibit.
It is the most expensive fish/plant/aquarium/hobby event to attend but they are providing an incredible number of speakers for the money. I have never seen so many speakers at one event. I am thinking of attending a few of the presentations because I know of the programs, locations and/or animals because of SCUBA diving.
