Not sure if there's an incorrect/correct answer here, but in ADA aquarium pictures from AquaJournal, they're both on the same side.

Thanks, yeah, I've seen that. I thought opposite sides would build a current, but I'm thinking both on the same side may make a circular current which is better?

I just got an email response from Orlando at GLA and he said the same thing: both on the same side...

I'll go and see if I have enough 5/8" hose... Sigh

I bought them on Ebay. The seller has amazing customer service. It shipped in a few weeks and the first set (I bought two sets, one for backup) had a broken pipe. He asked that I send him a picture and they shipped one out immediately. I got it in less than two weeks.
