FYI - Amazonia AND Amazonia II have been discontinued

Post by Bgssamson »

Both Amazonia AND Amazonia II have been discontinued. Amazonia IMPROVED type is now being release and are CHEAPER than before! I think the whole PRICE INCREASE thing is just a marketing scheme to get the rid of the "OLD" stocks before selling the new one.

See below link!

Yup same info but there's more!

There's a member ask this:

Is there anything being done for the people who purchased the Amazonia II that have mud in their tanks now?

HERE'S the answer by ADA:

Shane,

That is a great suggestion.

we will have a program for those people who bought Amazonia Ii and experienced the defect ready and posted by the end of the day.

Damian here's the post from Francis Xavier (ADA)!

===================================

Hello fellow hobbyists!

In the spirit of giving back, we've lowered our shipping rates by 50% on all Aqua Soil, 3L and 9L bags for the foreseeable future. One of the biggest pieces of feedback we've received from clients and customers was that they would love to see a lower shipping rate and we're here to say and prove that we're listening! For the first time ever, we invite you to please enjoy the lowest shipping rate ever on 20 pound bags of Aqua Soil!

In addition, we have the new type Amazonia Improved that has replaced Amazonia II and fixed issues with Amazonia II breaking down prematurely, while maintaining the positive effects of increased water clarity.

We've provided an introductory rate of $25.99 / bag for Amazonia Improved as well as for pre-orders of Amazonia I.

These can be found exclusively at ADGshop!

-------AND ANOTHER----------------------------

FYI - both Amazonia AND Amazonia II have been discontinued. I will have a press release ready soon. These are replaced with Amazonia IMPROVED type, which features the best aspects of both - high nutrients of Amazonia, clear water of Amazonia II and it's highly resistant to break down.

Only a good thing for the hobbyists that ADA is improving their products. That said, I have not regretted using their Amazonia I product for years. Also, just for fun, I tried out a few shipping calculations from ADG on the Amazonia Improved costs to see how they compared to our latest $30/bag order of Aquasoil:

# of Bags Cost/bag Shipped via UPS to MD Residential Address
1 $38.18
2 $34.83
3 $33.98
4 $33.48
5 $32.92
6 $32.39
10 $32.58
20 $32.40

So, considering we did freight shipping on 40+ bags, the new prices shipped straight to your house aren't bad as long as you order more than one bag.

Or we do another group order and drop the price even more!
