Here's a new addition to my collection as of this afternoon. This is a close cousin of the Olive Nerites that we all ordered via Sean.

They're nice looking! Do they seem hungry? Did you get them locally, or is this one of your online deals?

I found them from a guy on aquabid. So far about 7 out of 12 are moving around. I've heard it can take awhile for them to get used to their new homes.

I can't find any information whatsoever aside from the help Wilma gave me the with the Olive's. Breeding should be the same I would think. If I'm not getting hatching in freshwater I may try and make the tank brackish. Does anyone know what specific gravity is considered to be a light brackish water? I want to keep it light so the java moss can still survive.

For puffers and some gobies, light brackish is ~1.005-1.008 specific gravity. That may be pushing it for Java Moss. I have not had much luck with freshwater plants past 1.003.
