Tek Lighting
I have a 36" x 6 bulb Tek. I've never taken a close look at the sequence (maybe I shouldve) until recently. I noticed that on the 6 bulb, the outer 2 (first & last bulb) provide the noon burst. The interesting part is that when the light comes on, first 2 bulbs come on, then a while after, 2 more bulbs turn on. I turned the timer off, then back on. Still, 2 bulbs. After a while, 4 bulbs are on. Then the noon burst came on, and all 6 bulbs are blazing. After the noon burst goes of, 4 remain, and in the latter part of the day, only 2 bulbs are on. I then turn the timer off/on, then 4 bulbs stay on untill it's time for the timer to turn the lights completly off. It's like 2, 4, 6, 4, 2, off. Anyone else notice this? Could it be that 1 set of ballasts might need to warm up before turning on? I'm thinking there's a short. Any clues?

Only 2 switches/plugs. QUite puzzling. Not really a bad feature, just nothing like that writen in litereature. I wil have to remove, move bulbs, etc.
