Got Wood?

Post by scientist0724 »

So where's good place to buy some nice wood? I'm leaning toward Manzanita, but open to other options.

Are they the "branchy" type? Looking for ones that look like trees.

You might check with Tom Barr for Manzy. Reasonable prices if he still has some.
I did noticed that he took his pictures down so it might be too late. Never hurts to ask.

Mary got some really nice stuff from Senske @ ADG with the last GWAPA group order. They had some really nice rocks too.
Mary talked with him at the AGA convention and told us they had some good stuff in stock.

I think they collected the wood in Texas but the rocks came from Japan.

Jen,

There's nothing wrong with doing a group order. Maybe we can do it for the March group order if the club votes on a Nature aquarium theme for the aquascaping contest this year. I'm just getting antsy on setting up my "new" tank. Hehe!
