We did some native collecting in Florida of course. :D

A dragonfly larvae can live completely under water for a month?

I've had a damselfly and a dragon fly larvae in tanks (diff tanks). The dragonfly larva was much bigger. The damselfly was in a 2.5g and I let it morph into an adult. It was very pretty - iridescent green and blue.

They are aquatic insects in larval form, and voracious predators. Bye bye shrimp and small fish (like fry size).

That would explain the decrease in my shrimp population. :( Good thing I flushed it then.
