Clay for MTS!

Post by Jim Miller »

Clayworks Supplies Inc
4625 Falls Rd
Baltimore

Get off JFX at Coldspring Lane and turn left at Falls Rd light. Store is behind CVS on right.

$1.25 per pound

Good pottery clay in powder form sold by the pound. It's the real "fire it in a kiln" stuff.

Woo hoo!

Thanks for the tip Jim. I know a lot of people don't want to buy it in 10 lb. blocks when they'll only use a 1/10th of that on one large tank.

I finally managed to find "plain old dirt" aka unamended topsoil at our local TruValue in Shrewsbury tonight! Not easy to find topsoil when there's snow on the ground. All the bags were frozen together and solid as a rock. Took some real doing to pry them apart.

$2/bag.

Stinky basement starts tomorrow!

woot!
