Black Morph tetra

Post by Jeff120 »

Ive been keeping these guys for awhile now. They take a long time to get settled in and are really fun to watch. They are unlike any tetra I have ever kept as they are territorial. This one hangs out in the front and swims all through the Lilaeopsis trying to keep the cherry shrimp out of there. Beautiful small fish, if you see these buy them! I got there during Aquafest and it took about 1-2 months before I ever saw them. Probably another 1-2 months before they really started to color up like you see here.

Stalking the cherry shrimp, you can see they arent much bigger the cherries right now.

Nice fish Jeff. They are kind of cute because they look grumpy. LOL!

Great looking fish! I remember looking into those a while ago, but got scared off by their preferred water parameters. Can't recall now if they like really low pH or really soft water or something else...

Great shots Jeff! I was so upset when a CO2 dump killed mine.
