question about the common blixa: does it ever flowers?

im asking because i have the B. aubertii and it constatly flowers in my tank with no co2 nor anything fancy, but the japonica never did...experience/comments welcome :D

Yes, if you float it for awhile, Blyxa japonica will often flower. The flowers look very similar to B. aubertii.

i see, these plants are not floating anymore, actually they are in my 2.5 gallon :D, they are growing very very well and super healthy but no flowers so i was just wondering...

the ones Rico gave me are in my 125, some still float or get uprooted, no much growth yet so im not counting those. :|
