I just started growing this plant and I must
say - I really like how it looks!
Had anyone grown this plant?

Someone was telling me its common to find it in
nurseries - is that true?

Over here in the US, I hear its commonly available
in nurseries. It's also native so it should be
growing out there somewhere.
Besides that, Tropica sells it.

I remember that stuff... it's reasonably common here in Florida around the edges of swamps and some lakes. Unfortunately, it's the wrong time of year for it, so I doubt I can find any. I'd be interested to see what it does underwater.

I have one batch of it already. I went collecting a couple of days ago and that's the only thing I got that I actually recognized (not sure if that's a good or a bad thing).

Hopefully I can get to one of the springs before I leave and get some more. The lakes here are quite murky and it's hard to find anything in water more than 2 feet deep. The springs are a lot more "visible".
