Where to get rimless tanks?

And they look pretty nice, and less expensive than ADA, for those sizes that are directly comparable.

I'm fairly certain Aquarium Obsessed made the tank for the fellow in our club with that awesome custom setup in his basement, Michael someone...the last name eludes me at the moment.

I've yet to see a rimless tank in person that is as well made as the ADA tanks, though they are pretty close. I'd be most inclined to go with the Green Leaf tanks out of all the options.

I know a guy that carries the ADA line. Let me ask him about group order pricing.

One thing I noticed about the ADG rimless tanks is that the side panes of glass all rested on a bottom pane of glass. It would be better if they were constructed as the ADA tanks and apparently the GLA tanks are with the bottom pane of glass fit inside the side panes of glass.

The reason for this is that silicone is not as strong when resisting shear forces. i.e. the side panes are trying to slide across the top of the bottom pane of glass.

Ah, good to know. I wouldn't worry about it as much on those smaller tanks anyhow, more so for the 40+ gallon sizes.

Actually, I asked Michael Milliner who built his rimless Discus tank (which is 5' x 3' x 26") - it was Miracles Aquariums in Toronto.

Just to clarify, I am still just researching what is available, in what sizes, and the approximate price ranges. Based on what I've seen so far, I should probably stop, though, because there is no way I am ever going to be able to afford what I'm thinking about.
