AquaFest Volunteers needed, sign up here!

Post by ingg »

I'm going to attempt to get it pretty cohesive here. Please email or pm me with questions.

We need a little of your time! An hour, 2 hours, we need committed volunteers to make this go smoothly.

To Volunteer, please email to me at Dave.Williams@gwapa.org the following info:

Days and Times of day available to volunteer
What you wish to volunteer for
A phone number to reach you (this is coordination of multiple section heads and from all 3 clubs, numbers make makes contacting easier for the various department chairs helping to organize all this)

We need volunteers for the following. I've listed what day, as well as what times the particular needs are in terms of time of day.

Friday:

Fish show setup (Afternoon to Evening)

Registration Setup and Desk (Afternoon to Evening)

Vendor setup and coordination (Afternoon to Evening)

Saturday

Registration Desk (Morning and Day)

Aquascape Demo Volunteers/Assistants (2 to 6pm or so)

Fish Show Break Down (Late Saturday after Banquet)

Sunday

Auction Setup (Early Sunday, before 10am)

Concession Sales/Pizza Lunch (all day, most during lunch hour)

Auctioneers (all day)

Seller Registration/Bidder Check In (all day)

Recorders (all day)

Auction Seller/Buyer Check Out (all day)

Auction Tear Down (after auction, probably in the 5-7pm range)

Please consider donating a bit of time. A little bit from everyone lets it be the best it can be without making just a few miss out on all the fun.

Dave,
Just let me know when and where I'm needed. I'd like to see Jason Baliban though.

I'll be there to help. I always volunteer to record at the auction. I signed up to help with the aquascaping demo. I can help with the fish show, registration, and other stuff as needed. I'd like to see Jason Baliban and Randy Carey's talks, but other than that I'm free help out.

You never know what you're going to find, or where you're going to find it. So keep looking.
