After checking last night, it looks like Fabco Air is the most economical source. Other sellers have them at a slight mark up, and include the needed hose barbs. Since I am placing a Clippard order, a 10 pack of hose barbs was listed at less than $5, Cochranes price may be different, maybe less. Oregonaquadesign.com advertised their NV-55 comes with the 1/8" ID hose barb, which would not fit the 1/16" ID tubing the club purchased, and when I checked last night, they did not have 4 in stock.

I will place the order with the beveragefactory.com this evening after work. And I will contact Fabco Air today and verify the price for the NV-55 with viton seals. After that I will contact Hilton Morrow the sales rep for H.B. Cochrane and Co. about the Clippard order.

Cash or check is fine upon delivery or Paypal if you want, but they charge a transaction fee, (2.9% + $0.30).
I've only used Paypal to make payments not get payments, but if you prefer to use it no problem.

Joe,

Thanks for arranging this. I'll pay you cash in person once you know how much I owe, as you're right around the corner from me.

I'll take four (4) of the NV-55 valves. How many barbs would I need - 8 or 4? I'll get however many I need.

And for the Clippard order, I'll get one (1) of whatever Solenoid Kris gets.

Chris, for 4 needle valves you would need 8 hose barbs.

I will put up a list prior to ordering, to ensure we are all on the same page.

FYI about Fabco NV-55 needle valves. I called Fabco a few minutes ago to price them with viton seals, as their spec sheet shows viton seals as an option, and the gentleman told me that all the NV-55s they've sold for the last 15 years have all been Buna-n seals, but their engineering dept is looking into getting a supplier of viton seals.

Good morning everyone, I am going to place an order this week for some Clippard parts, with The N. B. Cochrane Co., for my first regulator build. If you need anything from Clippard, you are welcome to join in. I can provide local delivery, or I can bring the parts to the next meeting, which should be at Francine's on Sept 26th in Beltsville. I will pay for everything up front, and just collect upon delivery or pick up. The shipping fee, will be divided equally among all who participate.

I can provide part numbers if you need them. There is only one part I am having difficulty finding and that is a reducing fitting that connects the regulator body to the solenoid. The regulator port should be a 1/4" NPT and the solenoid port is 1/8" NPT.

That is the part I am worried about as well.
I do not know if the adapter I have on my broken regulator ( Aquatek of California ) will work with the new regulator ( I hope it will, I will find out soon hopefully as I placed the order last week ).

Thanks!
