hey, my moms angelfish laid eggs on top of an anubias plant, it is a 40 breeder and the parents are so far taking care of them, would you risk it and take them out or would you let them give it a try?

Leave them in there if this is their first spawn.

I agree. Leave them in there. The parent fish need to learn how to take good care of fry. It makes them better caretakers next time.

there is a whole bunch in there, maybe 100? one full anubia leaf...thanks all

Somewhere I remember reading that 2 female angel fish will pal around and lay eggs (infertile). Don't go by my experience though. I had angels years ago. One pair laid eggs but I never had fry.

Post your questions about angels on the Capital Cichlids Association forum. They have 5 or 6 members that successfully breed and raise many varieties of angel fish. That way you will be prepared for the next 'event'.
