September Meeting
September Meeting
Any info about this month's meeting?
Ooooo I'm finally back in town so I'll be going I'll be setting up a 30L for my waterdogs in my new place soon and will be in need of some things... Who is bringing what?
I'm working on live feeders for my waterdogs, so if anyone has an overabundence of young cherry shrimp and endlers I'd be willing to take some off your hands. It turns out my water dogs enjoy them very much! I'm also interested in other aquatic feeders (daphnia, etc).
Other interests include mosses I don't have (not java, I don't remember what else I have off the top of my head) and a powerhead that I can put a sponge on for the 30L if anyone has one lying around not being used.
Can't wait to go to this meeting! It's been a while.

I've got dwarf waterdogs (Necturus punctatus), a type of fully aquatic salamander (aka a type of mudpuppy). Sorry, I've chatted about them before but forgot I haven't talked to you guys in a while My bad... I've currently got 5 in a 20L and now that they are adults (and I'm trying to breed them) I'm using my move in the near future as a chance to put them in a new tank (30L), and figured I'd see how much of the supplies could be had by you guys that always seem to have extras I'll be starting a thread in a few mins to figure out what else I'll be using in the tank (substrates, tank furniture, etc) so I'm sure my wanted list will expand.
Best, Corey
Fish are in the minority of my critter collection... I keep mostly amphibians. I feel they go hand in hand since I lot of the knowledge I've gotten from one hobby seems to be useful for the other... and supplies as well! I'm hoping a new tank, moving water, and a variety of live foods added to the diet will liven things up.
I can already add to my list... low to medium light non-duckweed floating plants
rich_one... may want to check out my recently started sal thread. I may be able to take some of the pool filter sand off your hands if I don't go with the 3M stuff.
