I am about to tie some moss to some wood. I know that typically, cotton string is recommended. any bad side effects I should be aware of, if I use nylon instead? Thanks!

Nylon doesn't break down is all, folks use cotton thread because eventually it'll disappear.

At the last meeting someone suggested using a light fishing line and that worked great for me. Almost completely invisible too.
