My first tub garden

Sunk it into the landscaping, threw some plants in. Got some flowers!

Who knew water lettuc flowered? Not me. Cool looking flowers though!



Some kind of grass... will have to look up the name.

When you save the files on your computer use "Save for the Web" also resize the original before you host it. 900 pix wide is a good size.

All of the above can be done with a basic photo editor.

No idea what "save for the web" would mean, have never noticed anything like that. I know file types.... I'm pulling down high res images that are 7 mb as JPEG's sometimes.

Not using a photo editor, you guys and your photoshop! Maybe that is why that sounds so new to me. I've never used one, maybe that is why you all get such good pics, you CHEAT! Been playing in GIMP, but I've yet to see anything like that in there, either.

In GIMP, you will be able to resize the image. Should be where you edit the image.


Should be able to click File, and then there should be a way to Save for Web.

Save for the Web just saves the photo at a lower quality, and at a smaller size the artifacts that will be generated should be hard to see.

The white flower is Zephyranthes candida, commonly known as rain lily.

Nice flowers.
