Water hyacinth
I've only had this growing in my container for a few weeks now,
and BOY does this thing GROW. Single plants now have 3-4 daughter
plants each - and it isnt even warm yet. By the MAN trip I may have
some extra plants to distribute.

They say that it has covered a large amount of surface in Lake Victoria because it spreads so fast. Supposedly good for the cichlids there because the fry and juveniles are able to hide in the root structure, which after the introduction of the Nile Perch as a food fish had been a major problem. Species were being wiped out by the Perch and the Water Hyacinth supposedly has slowed that or reversed it in many cases.
