120 gallon filter question

I'm running 2 XP4s on my 125. I think the 120 is only a 4' tank, so there may be some difference there.

Additionally, I run the outputs of the XP4s through locline Y and out 2 outlets that are directional. I find there to be plenty of flow in the tank like this, and I can control where it goes in 4 different places.

I get it now - neat idea. How does one pull the powerheads to clean impellers and stuff?

they just sit on the PVC (you dont glue them on or anything but you can do it if you want to).

Dave this goes back to the whole engineer discussion we had before.

I like to tinker, it just gets me in trouble OFTEN.

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to stick with the 2 XP3s and address the flow with power heads later if needed.

I like the idea of the under substrate jets. I can put the pipes in during setup and just cap the openings until I am ready to hook it up. I will have to look into this option a little more.
