50 Breeder gets a makeover

My New Years resolution was to stop melting plants.

I've cleaned out my 50 breeder and I want to do a makeover on it.

Here are a couple of horrid and blurry pics of before and after cleanup.

The last picture is after running a filter, its a little clearer.

I have a school of Rummynose tetras in there and I'll have to look up and list the plants later, they are mostly a grab bag of common stuff from work.

I like the hardscape.

I'll beat Aaron to it - you need a LOT more plants in there. I've never been able to start light with plants... it always made algae heaven. Pack it out with plants, you can cull them out later.

Exactly what Dave said. You've got a good foundation with the hardscape. Now plant, plant, plant! I'm looking forward to seeing updates.

Lol,
I know, I know I need more plants I'll get more on Wednesday the rest will have to wait until the 29th.
Anymore suggestions on what plants to add.

Some Anubias nana would look nice in front of the large rocks. Or perhaps some Blyxa japonica.

Cabomba carolina, it grows pretty fast. May be good to get some fast growers in there too. I'm sure there will be some at the meeting.
