125 update thread
I could retire today!!
(Of course I do not get Social Security for 25 years or so and I do not have anywhere near enough in my retirement IRA to keep me from being homeless in about 2-years)

Social security?!?! Bwahahaha!!! That's a good one. I hope you don't really expect there to be social security when we're eligible.
As seriously as Congress and the White House take the country's financial situation, they'll stop social security and medicare and then at the end of the fiscal year declare bankruptcy.
Cheers.

Just a quick update. Starting to see the first bits of algae, mainly dust on the glass. Added a few nerites to get them started. Tank has clouded over in a white cloud, I assume this to be a bacteria bloom? Just did a 50% PWC yesterday, and it's already back to looking like this.
Several new plants, but still seems pretty barren to me, although I am getting growth on everything that's in there. CO2 is running and ferts are choppy at best for the time being, I need to get into a solid routine on those (hence why I've been bugging Jeff for autodoser information lately).

So, after Dave's excavation today, the stuff had to go somewhere, right? Between that, some help from G, and a few pickups at Ricks, here's the update.
Sorry for the bubbles, just did a WC. Also, the water's still clouded from what I'm guessing is a bacteria bloom. 80% water change, I can still see the haze.
It's no expert scape, that's for sure. But, overall I think it's coming together. Nowhere near happy yet, but getting there I think.
Thoughts???

I'd get the stellata out from the middle of those rocks. You saw what a bush it can make - when it takes off, you won't see anything behind it at all.
Love the madagascar lace! Awesome!
