I haven't posted a picture of my 40G breeder tank in awhile. Just snapped one today.
More info on the tank here.

You're right Ben that the height is problematic. I used to try growing things like L. aromatica and P. stellatus in there, but found that they didn't recover near as nicely from trimming because I'd really have to trim them short to get to the bush up at the proper height. Using Rotalas, Didiplis, Eriocaulon 'Type 2', and then Blyxa aubertii have helped me with the height issue.
Sometimes I think about selling the 40G, and replacing it with a 50G as it's the same footprint but taller.

Dang it!!
Thats how I was going to do my 2.5

I'm not sure what it is. It's a crypt that Aaron and I saw at Scales in their show tank, and Andrew said it was Crypt. wendtii -- it's not. Jim saw it the other day when picking up plants, and he wasn't sure what it was either. It's nice looking though. It's got consistently wavy/crinkled leaves, and not due to any deficiency. Aaron, did yours survive the move?Ghazanfar Ghori wrote:Is that the 'dwarf' spiralis on the back left?
