No pymaeus. Echinodorus vesivius, Hygro "lo row", and narrow leaf java fern in that last pic - behind it all is the new leaves popping off balansae.

Ahh, doh :)

Pygmaeus, yup. Been collecting a school for a few months now.

BTW, possibly the worst fish to catch in a tank EVAH!!! Tiny, fast, smart, and bury themselves in the substrate once totally spooked. I still havea few in a couple various tanks, buggers are worse to catch than Nannacara Anomala - and I never thought I'd say that about any fish, hehe.

Had to completely tear out every plant in my 33g flatback to get most of them - and still saw one swimming around in there the other day. Still a couple in the 30 long, too.

I've always had a soft spot for the dwarf corys. I really like the way they school, and the fact that they don't shy from the occasional mid-level swim. Seeing your school come around a rock, or out from behind some plants has got to be a great visual.

I'm currently on the watch for C. hastatus, to go with some Kreig's tetras I bought at SCALES. The Kreig's coloration mimics that of the corys, for that blended school look.

What is a Kreig's tetra? I find no reference to it on Google.

It's Odontostilbe kriegi, or Serrapinus kriegi. AKA Krieg's tetra or three-spot tetra. Sorry, I transposed the "e" and "i".

Looks like a smaller lemon tetra, only not as yellow. Lateral line is slightly metallic green. Has dark spot on tail, anal fin, and I guess, the eye makes 3. According to a reference Andrew has, they school with corydoras hastatus. I've got 4 in a 5.5 gal. I don't think it's entirely to their liking, as the hide by day and only come out when the light's off.

After I bought them, I asked Andrew if he ever got hastatus in. He just laughed, and wished me good luck, finding them.
