First my basement flooded. So I moved a bunch of tanks to do various things. Do to space, time to make repairs, money and electrical outlet locations etc.. my 120 gal. tank has all but melted down. Now, my hot water heater has failed and re-flooded my basement. I need something to look forward to.
I'm lighting the tank with 4 (54w HO) bulbs with room to add two more if needed and I'm using pressurized CO2
I have a school of about 30or so Von Rio Tetras (Hyphessobrycon flammeus) that I will keep in the tank.
I plan on removing the Swords and keeping the Anubias and Lace plants. Any suggestions for other plants. I want to get as much as I can at the Feb. meeting
I'll get it later= Meltdown!!
If you want fast easy growing and tall, val nana goes like wildfire under good light, and it doesn't care if ti gets fertilized or not.
Same with the corymbosa stricta i''ll be bringing, and stricta is a plant that only works well in larger tanks - the leaves can get to 3-4" long, it'd actually be really nice in a big tank like this. I keep it in one side of a 55g and it dominates the tank.
