btw.... is it just me, or is the entire problem simply that you are missing the stock bubble counter? :)

I bought a JBJ without the bubble counter cause I wanted to be sure my 10 pound CO2 tank and regulator would fit in the cabinet. There is enough room enough should I decide to get it later. It costs from $10 to $30 online.

Its not the bubble counter, mine broke and I just took it off and hooked the tubing up to the nub as Joe has

Keep a close eye on the tubing to make sure that it does not become brittle and crack/break.

Got the CO2 system all hooked up now; check valve, bubble counter and timer all ready to go. Will be cranking it up tomorrow morning. Not sure how many bubbles per second or minute I need. I will have to leave for work before I can get a read on the drop checker. So I better err on the low side.
