just picked up one of the NO t5 fixtures

Post by JMLenke »

Last night I drove over to Scales from my office and picked up a 24" and 30" T5 fixture for the 20L and 20g tanks.

Why didnt I do this before???

The light output on them is incredible compared to both the 55w PC fixture and the T12 fixtures I have..

I think it may well beat the 4x 65w PC Coralife fixture I have as well.

I also have to love the lack of height that these fixtures have as well. Its nice to not have an extra 6-12" of light sitting on top of the tank.

I've got one and I really like it. They're the T5 Aqualight.

Andrew said Coralife is having production problems, and that these lights may be up to 6 months on backorder. Apparently they're made in China, so don't lick them.

When I get home I will post the name but IIRC they are NO.

Aqualight is the name I think but dont hold me to it.

Now I just need to scape the tank and get rid of the noisy aquaclear 500(?) Its OLD and well the motor is going on it. I just had my smaller aquaclear die last night.
