Tried looking through it, Aaron, and appreciate the links, but, see, the thing about that is....
642 manifolds.
There are 74 check valves.
87 needle valves.
I have no idea what I'm looking at.
Those check valves and needle valves don't seem to have the stems on them, so I'd have to sit here for hours figuring out what they are, too...
Brass check valves from him were 12 bucks. Those are shipped. Those brass valves are showing up as 6 bucks or so without shipping/handling at clippard.com, and I can't find one with barbs.
Swagelock needle valves were $22 each shipped, configured for inline use. Swagelocks are supposed to have better control, if I'm being told true...no idea how to compare it to the clippard site, have zero idea how to actually configure it on their site for inline use anyhow. But I did take 3 clippard valves with no stems or knobs and threw them in the cart at clippard.com - and $10 handling and 6 bucks shipping went on it, 33 bucks for the 3...I remember clippard valves being about $13-15 each when I found them somewhere already configured.
I have no idea what the clippard manifold would be, but Rex was about 16 dollars for the 6 port manifold set up to run the way I want it, spare bores plugged and hex nipple to attach to solenoid.
Cheapest I found CO2 tubing online was like 75 bucks for 100' before shipping, getting it for 20 less from him shipped.
I saent him a payment tonight - I'm sure he's making a good profit, but profit isn't a four letter word to me - there actually are some things this cheapass'll pay for, and saving me hours of aggravation trying to figure that crap out is one of 'em.
Regulator - Mil;waukee or JBJ?
Ahh, thanks for the offer!
Ordered all the inline stuff from Rex last night.
This is the stuff to plumb the walls. So, check valve and needle valve on the end of each line, manifold to attach to the regulator.
The regulator for the 180g, I'll probably just get a JBJ - 30 bucks for regulator, 15-20 for needle valve, 20-25 for solenoid, plus a bubble counter.... is just as expensive, or more, than a JBJ unit (80 bucks).
