Growing HC Emersed

What do I need to do for it?

I am assuming put in substrate, fillt with water to top of substrate, and plant it. Do I need to fertilize it?

For lighting - Is it okay in an aquarium, in a flourite base, in a south facing window? Does it need more light than that?

You can just use Aquasoil or potting soil if you want to avoid fertilizing it. I use those black plastic trays (with no holes of course) and the lexan humidity domes they sell for seed starting at nurseries.

Any of those lighting situations shoudl be suitable. Be forewarned that it doesn't grow as quickly emersed.
