Light: Hight light. 3 WPG +
Growth: Medium
Demands: Good for me so far, I will report in a few months.
Pruning: Same as any stem.
Water hardness: I have fairly soft water, 3dGH.
Experiences: I haven't seen this one too many places, but everyone here should recognise it as it is an AC staple. The trick to this one (and I think R. wallichii and R. macrandra as well) seems to be either gobs of iron or lower nitrate. I'm not convinced yet that the conventional wisdom of low nitrate does nothing more than slow other plants down and cause an abundance of iron. Very red.
