Paintball cylinder co2 systems

Post by ingg »

How does the connection work?

I know in a "normal" system, you put in the new sealing ring, and crank that sucker down with a pipe wrench.

Do you do the same with the like Red Sea 20 oz paintball thingies? Anyone know?

A young lady on another forum is running through a 20 oz. bottle in 3 weeks on a 65, and actually had a cylinder blow and put a hole in the wall. She said her connection feels loose after a day, and it stops blowing gas.... trying to help her figure it out.

That doesnt sound right.

When I used to play p'ball we would just tighten them by hand and they would stay on.

Sounds like she has bad fittings.

Maybe use the Yellow gas seal tape (thicker than the white teflon ) to help secure it.
